USER EXPERIENCE SPECIALIST, PHOTOGRAPHER, ILLUSTRATOR AND CREATIVE GENERALIST

MY WORK PROCESS BOILED DOWN:

Utilizing creative process tools like IBM Design Thinking to collaborate with clients, stakeholders and end users to design world leading UX solutions. Typical case process: IBM Design Thinking workshops and team effort leads up to mockups or interactive prototype of case solution/solutions.

IBM Design Thinking

After user interviews, field studies and general meetings regarding the projects components and stakeholders, the IBM Design Thinking workshops are held. This is where the UX team and the users iterate around ideas for the best solution, with the end user at center.

Concepting

This is where the ideas are filtered down to the solution which is the optimal for the users and stakeholders considering the technical specifications. legacy systems, etc. What workarounds are need to be done to get the best solution, maximizing efficiency and time saving for the users.

Detailing

Often utilizing methodologies like field studies, user studies and customer journeys. When flow charts have iterated into wireframes. they are made into mockups and finally an Interactive prototype is built. Often followed by an Implementation plan.

Delivery

Where the final product is built, sometimes in offshore SCRUM teams. System integration testing, User studies. Measurement of pain points. This is often the most time consuming part, and UX is a vital part of this work, and should not be left out until launch time.

OTHER TYPES OF EXPERIENCES FROM THIS USER

What am I doing in my spare time? In case you wonder, I guess I'm something of a sport nerd, not just IT stuff! Here are some favorite pastimes:

FAMILY MAN

The toughest management school on earth?
I have a family with three kids who are my pride and joy. Most of the time.

Skateboarding

All year round.
Outdoors in the summer, indoors in winter. I am also the initiator behind Bowlstock, a rock and skate festival/event in Stockholm every year, since 2015. www.bowlstock.se So far, we have had some of the worlds’ best known skaters there, as well as Swedish rock stars like Ebbot and Teddybears.

Freeride Skiing

Every winter in deep pow.
I try to get away for at least one serious freeride ski trip/year. In January 2016 I went to Niseko in Japan, and in March 2017 I am off to Kamchatka in Russia for help skiing.

Student

Always learning new stuff
I read a lot, and have a focus on learning a few new things per day. I especially follow up on work related topics, but am generally curious about pretty much anything. Listen to many podcasts while travelling, and follow relevant news topics on Flipboard, and other media aggregators.
